Mrs. Ballpit, Performance, VR 3D Video, 2016
"Mrs. Ball-Pit" is a performance and VR installation in which I am served to my guests as a Piña Colada cocktail. In the performance, I wear a VR headset depicting a 3D video, the sound of which is heard by the guests. Meanwhile, Piña Colada spouts from my plastic, enlarged body via tubes and is then served to my guests by one of my assistants. Once the drinks have been served, my assistants conclude the performance by imbibing the remains of my fluids directly from the tubes into their mouths. When the performance is over the audience may adorn the VR headset and view the video.
